 Attend this event if you are interested in learning more about the E3A Personal Development and Wellbeing (PDW) model which can be used as the basis for conducting personal development and wellbeing workshops. 


Course Description:

This course provides equine experiential education (E3) trainers an overview of E3A's enhanced models (templates) for trainers to use in Equine Assisted Learning Personal Development and Wellbeing (PDW) programs using facilitative coaching. 

 

Takeaways include:

- An overview of E3A's personal development process

- The meaning of and context within which PDW learning occurs

- A holistic model of who we are as human beings - the Circle of

  Being

- The E3A Transformative Model as a basis for change and  

   debriefing in the PDW context

- How to distinguish between states of wellbeing (congruence)

  and distress (incongruence)

  

Intended Audience:

All Equine-based trainers and equine specialists (EAL/EGE/EAP/E3) who want to enrich or start an equine assisted learning Personal Development and Wellbeing program.

Trainer Bio: 


Kathy Milbeck, MA comes to world of EAL with 35 years of experience as a psychotherapist.  She received her Masters in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame in 1980.  She has worked as a Psychologist for the State of Nevada and as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. She has also had a successful private practice since 1982 and began her EAL work in 2006 with 18 years of experience with her horses.  She is certified by E3A in equine experiential education, corporate coaching and as a master trainer.  She has been on the board of directors for E3A for 6 years and currently serves more technical roles as the treasurer and the program development chair. She co-foundered her own EAL business, Equinemity in 2006 and the web site is www.Equinemity.net.
