Attend this event if you are interested in learning more about the E3A Personal Development and Wellbeing (PDW) model which can be used as the basis for conducting personal development and wellbeing workshops.
This course provides equine experiential education (E3) trainers an overview of E3A's enhanced models (templates) for trainers to use in Equine Assisted Learning Personal Development and Wellbeing (PDW) programs using facilitative coaching.
- An overview of E3A's personal development process
- The meaning of and context within which PDW learning occurs
- A holistic model of who we are as human beings - the Circle of
- The E3A Transformative Model as a basis for change and
debriefing in the PDW context
- How to distinguish between states of wellbeing (congruence)
and distress (incongruence)
All Equine-based trainers and equine specialists (EAL/EGE/EAP/E3) who want to enrich or start an equine assisted learning Personal Development and Wellbeing program.
Trainer Bio: PJ Stegan
Paula “PJ” Stegen, BA
PJ Stegen spent over 35 years in business, has been a non-profit professional since 1990, and served as Executive Director of four industry trade associations: Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), Fibre Channel Association, The ATM Forum, and Gaming Standards Association. She worked with 1,000+ corporate member companies and 2,000 individual volunteers developing/promoting technical standards for the Personal Computing (PC), System Storage, Telecommunications and Gaming Industries. She is a Certified Professional Coach, a Certified E3A Master Trainer, a Certified Equine Assisted Corporate Training Specialist, and has Parelli Natural Horsemanship Ground Level and EAGALA Level 1 Certificates. She co-founded Horses for the Spirit and the Equine Experiential Education Association (E3A) for which she served as Executive Director for six years. She recently joined Equinemity to share her wisdom by conducting Professional Development seminars for corporations, NPO’s, NGO’s and adult individuals. She maintains that bringing corporate teams and individuals into the arena with her horse co-trainers for team development and personal growth is the most powerful learning system she has ever experienced in I all her many years as mentor, coach and business executive.
