Kathleen Terry-Sharp

Kathleen Terry-Sharp is President and Founder of Equ-Insights, a Memphis-based consulting group.  Utilizing her experience, training, and coaching skills, she helps executives, students, and individuals lead more effectively.  She integrates what horses teach us to illuminate how good leaders can become great and to transform groups into high‐performing teams by developing positive relationships that result in better communication, increased productivity, and improved organizational health. 

She is an E3A Certified Practitioner and holds a BA from Millsaps College and an MPA (Organizational Behavior, Policy and Program Evaluation) from the University of Tennessee. Her doctoral work is in Educational Leadership.  She has been a senior leader in higher education, nonprofit, and association management organizations.  She has taught graduate courses in Public and Nonprofit Administration and American Government and currently serves on the Public Policy and Administration Advisory Board at the University of Tennessee.

In the past six years, Kathleen has raised over $36.5M for higher education programs, scholarships, and capital projects.  As a professional fundraiser, she provides advice and insight on campaigns, grants, and business plans.  She offers guidance to organizations seeking the most productive ways to engage donors, volunteers, and board members.
