Greetings E3A Herd!
This has not been a “business as usual” kind of year for any of us. As an organization and as individuals we had to be resilient and capitalize on our strengths, just as herds do in difficult situations. The challenges we faced in 2020 have become springboards in a year of tremendous organizational growth. E3A is currently wrapping up a strategic planning process, moving parts of the certification curriculum online, expanding ways for members to connect, and partnering with colleagues to standardize terminology across the industry.
One of E3A’s greatest strengths is our members, who are genuinely interested in helping each other thrive. The E3A Membership Support Committee, which I am excited to lead along with William Hancy and Lisa Bowman, is devoted to recognizing and celebrating the talents and strengths of each E3A member and providing you with opportunities to share your unique gifts with the E3A herd. We want to hear about the wonderful work you are doing so we can highlight and spread successes, discover new ways to address common challenges, and promote shared learning. There are many ways to get involved, including submitting member updates for the newsletter and on social media, presenting or simply participating on a member networking call, and serving on the Committee as an E3A ambassador for your region. We will always be stronger together than working alone and we welcome your ideas and input.
The world needs horse wisdom now more than ever before. E3A is committed to helping each member grow and succeed, as we expand awareness of the power of equine experiential learning to transform challenges into opportunities and obstacles into stepping stones. Thank you for the work that you do for your communities, the partnership you provide to your horses, and for being part of this dynamic E3A herd.
With gratitude,
Carrie Brady
