Mission, Vision, Values: The foundation for getting where you want to go
Yogi Berra once said, “If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.” Relating that to running a business, if you don’t know where you’re going, you’re going to spend a lot of time, money, and effort ending up someplace else, which could be bankruptcy court.
Mission, vision, and value statements are the foundation of businesses. Among other things, they provide businesses a destiny, a compass, and a reason for existing. This presentation will provide brief descriptors of each statement, what they represent and measure, and how they contribute to developing a solid business foundation.
